Ms. Leverton is a highly accomplished technology executive and industry thought leader with a long history of driving high growth mandates. With more than 20 years of leadership in the Canadian technology industry, she joined Hut 8 from her most recent role as the Chief Commercial Officer at eStruxture Data Centers. Her career also includes tenure as the General Manager of Canada and APAC with data center and cloud provider Cogeco Peer 1 (now Aptum) and leadership roles with National Bank, BlackBerry, Bell Canada and IBM Canada. She proudly sits on the boards of the Stratford Festival, Technation and ComKids in addition to serving as the Chair of IMWomen Canada.
Shane is a strategic finance leader and complements Hut 8’s management team with a breadth of experience in corporate and operational finance, cross-border M&A, credit and capital investment planning. With more than 15 years of experience in progressively senior roles, he was previously CFO of Polaris Infrastructure (TSX: PIF), a Latin America focused renewable energy business. Most recently, Shane led corporate development efforts for a rapidly growing Toronto-based environmental services business. Shane started his career with KPMG, based in both Toronto and London, UK offices, and is an experienced corporate lender, with Bank of Montreal. Shane is a Chartered Professional Accountant, with a Bachelor of Science from The Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University.

Tanya (BA, LLB, LLM, LLM), brings nearly 20 years of experience as a seasoned legal professional, successful strategic advocate, author and global public speaker to her role at Hut 8 with established expertise in Blockchain, peer-to-peer technology, social impact and sustainable financial innovation. Prior to joining Hut 8, Ms. Woods completed two Masters of Laws including specialization in Technology Law and held senior level positions representing national and multinational organizations as a strategic advisor and legal counsel in the telecommunications, technology, sustainability and entertainment sectors for leading companies such as BCE Inc., Microsoft and Nintendo. She most recently served as founding Managing Director of Canada’s first Chamber of Digital Commerce to advocate for and grow the country’s blockchain ecosystem. Ms. Woods is an active philanthropic entrepreneur and has been recognized as an Obama Foundation Global Civic Leader, Government of Canada Leading TechWoman, CBC Trailblazer, and Top 40 Under 40.

An experienced Fintech Advisor, Speaker and Chartered Investment Manager, Sue has an established history as a champion of emerging technology and innovation. With a proven skillset in leading ambitious, scalable, blockchain-based data protocol, she joins Hut 8 from her current role as the Senior Vice President at Shyft Network. Additionally, Ms. Ennis is a sought-after keynote speaker at data privacy, technology and blockchain panels all over the world, with a career that includes tenure at some of the largest asset managers in North America where her primary focus has been on both global retail and institutional business development.
Head of Sustainability
Ronnie Yu is a risk mitigation and power markets specialist with over 15 years of experience executing deals across renewable energy markets, power markets, emissions origination, hedging, commercials and finance in North America. He joins Hut 8 from his previous role at Bullfrog Power, where he was responsible for its renewable energy procurement initiative and executing Bullfrog’s first long-term Alberta-based solar Power Purchase Agreement in July 2020. Ronnie is a proven leader and has originated and structured various power hedging agreements in Alberta and US markets. Ronnie has a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alberta, specializing in Natural Resources and Energy.

Jason Zaluski brings a wealth of expertise in computer information systems and business administration to Hut 8 as a founding member of a blockchain startup in Toronto where he led its initial product management and established its crypto mining community. Prior to joining Hut 8, Jason built his own consulting company specializing in the operation of cryptocurrency mining facilities and blockchain infrastructure services, working closely with numerous leading hardware providers, preeminent organizations, analysts, and investors in the space. Jason holds a Bachelor in Computer Information Systems from Mount Royal University and a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University.
